I'm now 3 weeks post-removal surgery!!
Removal surgery details: silicone and septal extension removal; they said they did not add any manipulation to the nasal tip
#Difference from my original nose Maybe because my bulbous nose was corrected, the nasal tip got smaller, slimmer? The nasal tip is lifted, though not as much as my surgical nose (seems partly due to scar tissue too) The dorsal hump was shaved down so it became smooth, not bumpy x not flat x, just like the photos!! With my surgical nose, I could immediately feel the septum in the columella and it was hard, and now the columella is a bit firm, but it feels like it's just because scar tissue has formed, not hard like the septum x The cartilage area of the nasal tip is overall firm. I think it's because scar tissue formed ㅠㅠ Can't make a pig nose Moves well from side to side The nasal tip does feel tight and fixed, but it's to the point where I don't notice it when I'm still I asked the doctor whether everything had been removed, and they made a dumbfounded expression and said nothing was left ㅋㅋㅋ so I felt relieved!! I'm going to watch this scar tissue for half a year No externally visible scar tissue For scar tissue inside the nose, the nasal bridge side seems slightly uneven, but not enough to bother me There is a scar, but I'm going to apply Noscarna My nostrils are uneven, but it barely shows when you look, so this much is okay! Compared with my surgical nose and original nose, my nostrils do show, but it doesn't look weird, and according to my dad, my nose looks more refined and prettier(!?)
#Care When showering, I put warm water on my nose and gently press beside the nasal bridge, and I'm doing simple taping on my nose every time I sleep! Planning to do it for a month
Now that it's been 3 weeks, I don't think much about my nose anymore Now I talk while eating and laughing..ㅋ.. I still feel firmness when I move my nose, but I think this will improve with time I can't go as far as recommending removal, so please consult enough with your doctor and decide!! ㅠㅠ It doesn't immediately become soft just because you remove it But the unpleasant pressing sensation from the septal extension is gone, so I like that If you're sensitive, think again about nose surgery! I'll come back once more around half a year later~!
