My natural nose had a somewhat severe hump and the nasal tip drooped a little, so it made my midface look long lolol Since my existing glabella bridge + hump were relatively high, I had osteotomy + a slight shaving of the hump, and only had ear cartilage + septal cartilage placed at the nasal tip. The director was really honest and had kind of an easygoing uncle? lolol vibe, so the consultation was comfortable, and above all, he seemed to pursue natural-looking results, so I trusted him and booked. In the before-and-after review photos? there were a lot of hump nose cases too, so somehow it felt trustworthy.
It was my first time under sedation anesthesia, so I was really scared, but when I woke up it was over, and other than it being hard to breathe because of the cotton inside my nose, there wasn’t really any discomfort. I was worried about pain because there were a lot of reviews saying it hurt, but only my ear throbbed a little? and I had absolutely no pain or bruising on my nose. When the splint first came off, I liked the side profile even more than I expected hehe. He made it almost exactly like the photo I brought. For the swelling from the front, I was worried because my nasal bridge was very swollen, maybe because I had osteotomy, but the director said I was on the more swollen side and gave me additional swelling medication, so after taking it these past few days, thankfully the swelling is going down quickly. One thing that was a little disappointing was that there wasn’t as much aftercare as I expected?? There wasn’t any separate swelling laser or sebum care? stuff like that Anyway, these days I’m living for the fun of running to the mirror as soon as I wake up in the morning and checking the swelling in my nose going down lolol For everyone who wants to improve a hump naturally without an implant, I’d recommend at least getting a consultation!!
