It’ll soon be my 4th year I had it done in my mid-20s, and now I’m heading into my late 20s
I had 3 types of facial contouring, deep cheek fat removal, and cortical bone shaving.
Pros 1. All sensation came back within 2 months 2. I’m satisfied that I shaved it while leaving a bit of square jaw 3. I work taking photos, and my photos definitely come out prettier 4. I still don’t have sagging, wrinkles, or loose skin 5. There was a short time when I gained 10 kg and then lost it again right away, but there was no change in my face 6. I can open my mouth really wide 7. On the day of surgery, my cheekbones only ached for exactly 2 hours, and after surgery I didn’t feel pain at all It was also nice that the drain didn’t fill up 8. I’m doing well without nerve damage or anything like that I’ve never once had a buzzing or aching sensation 9. I also did my lower jaw, but my chin doesn’t protrude separately (Sometimes celebrities who had two-jaw surgery and contouring look like only their front chin moves separately) 10. I went to the hospital for a checkup last year, and the bone had healed well too 11. I asked them to preserve the anterior cheekbones and make the lower jaw a little rounded, not a V-line, and it turned out just right
Cons
1. Maybe because they cut the lower jaw with force using a saw, my teeth and gums feel weaker, so I’m taking a lot of care of them.. Watching facial contouring videos, the teeth shake too when they cut the jaw, so maybe it’s natural.. 2. If I rest my lower jaw on a surface, it feels a bit pressed? Like it’s being strained 3. I’m about to start Shurink or Ultherapy I’ll probably have to do it for life Because of COVID, I’m doing home care with ㄴㅇ radiofrequency and ㄴㅍㅇㅅ 4. The cost is expensive 5. I haven’t eaten hard foods or gum even once since surgery. I don’t do it because I feel like it might be harmful 6. I don’t have to remove the pins, but every time I go to the dentist, they keep showing on X-rays, so I’m planning to do it within this year.. 7. My mom found out and I almost died
A close older friend is in her 6th year and in her mid-30s, and she says she’s not sure about nasolabial folds, but not sagging I haven’t seen sudden major sagging or anything like that yet
If it sags, I’ll be sad, but what I gained is over 80, so I don’t regret it
