Somehow, half a year has already passed since surgery.
The aftercare I diligently went to at first ended up getting skipped as I rationalized it with all kinds of excuses;; I think it’s because they’ve become natural enough that I can live without restrictions, like they’re my own breasts (?)..
Thanks to the postpartum care center friend who recommended the surgery to me, I gained breasts and was reborn haha At present, the armpit scar has really improved too. When I went for the consultation, the director had a lot of experience, so I did feel a little intimidated by his presence, but he was so kind and sweet... After breastfeeding, my breasts became like an old lady’s and my self-esteem was truly at rock bottom, but he brought me back like this... I’m giving a deep bow toward the clinic from far away...
If you’re debating when to have surgery, I think it would have been better not to put it off until after pregnancy and childbirth, but to do it while young, wear lots of pretty clothes, and enjoy it. That’s how it was from my experience. A postpartum care center friend I became close with later told me that she had breast surgery in her early 20s. She never missed breastfeeding calls and went diligently, and she was a friend who breastfed almost exclusively, so I never imagined she had that kind of history, and if she hadn’t told me, I think I would never have known... Childbirth and breastfeeding were the biggest constraints when I was deciding on breast surgery, but if I’d known it would be like this, I should have had the surgery much earlier
