Since nose surgery seems so common these days, I worried about it and then went for it!

It has been one month since I had surgery at Named. Since 2024, there have been a lot of people around me who got nose surgery, so I kept only thinking about it, then went around doing consultations. I went to about 6 consultations, and around the time I got exhausted and was about to give up, I looked into Named. The nose shape was exactly the kind of look I wanted, so I went for a consultation. During the consultation, the director lifted the nose with a cotton swab to shape it, checked the skin by pulling it, and I think the detailed consultation lasted over 30 minutes. Since I also have a bulbous nose, other places mentioned osteotomy and shaving down the nasal bridge (for reference, I don’t have a hump, and my nasal bridge is somewhat present). I had heard that recovery gets longer if you do an osteotomy, and I was a little scared because it was my first surgery, but he told me I didn’t need an osteotomy. He confidently said that a doctor is someone who achieves what the client? patient?.. wants, so I felt much more at ease and was able to make a reservation haha. I had the surgery with trust that he would make it really pretty, and now it has been one month. So far there’s nothing uncomfortable, and my nasal bridge was originally a little crooked, so I worried a lot about nostril asymmetry after surgery, but the nostrils are well matched symmetrically too. Recovery has been so fast, the swelling went down a lot in just 2 weeks, and I like it because it seems to have turned out well to suit my face. Of course people around me say I got prettier, so I’m very satisfied. After a month, I had really worried a lot about a foreign-body sensation, runny nose, and so on, but there’s nothing at all. I don’t even feel like I have silicone in, so I personally felt that the surgery really went well. Director Byeongjun is young, so calling him “doctor-father” feels a bit much.. I’ll call him a godly doctor. Thank you.!! The info desk staff were also very kind, and the operating room nurse was just like an older sister, warmly greeting me every time I went, and she talked to me in a way that put me at ease, so that was nice! I also liked that I could keep seeing the doctor every time I went for follow-ups. He said he only does one or two surgeries a day, and I liked that he took that much time to check the patient’s progress together. They said A/S for things like inflammation is free until Director Byeongjun retires, so that also made me feel much more reassured for a first surgery. I hope I can live well with this nose without inflammation from now on. Thank you. I’ll come back in the second month!
