Before <before surgery> After <this was around day 2-3> After <week 1> After <around week 3> After <1 month!> After <3 months!> After <6 months hehe> I had cheekbone surgery at Cookie, and I’m leaving what I’ve felt during recovery so far.
Week 1 If a place was too large-scale or not established for long, I was worried about safety, so I looked into several places, and decided because I thought Cookie was good. First, I liked that an anesthesiology specialist is on-site and that they only do up to 2 surgeries per day, so I could trust that it would be done safely. The director and consultation manager were also kind and explained things in detail one-on-one, which was good. My swelling is on the severe side, so I’ll have to watch the progress to know, but I’m satisfied because the cheekbone surgery seems to have gone well, as much as I wanted and as discussed in the consultation.
3 weeks I think all the major swelling after cheekbone surgery has gone down. There is still some swelling left from the front cheeks down to the jaw, but it hasn’t been long since surgery, so I’m waiting patiently! Swelling at this point is natural. It feels like my mouth muscles have relaxed a lot, and the corners of my mouth lift well too. When I smile, I can definitely feel the cheekbone area has gone in, and when viewed from about 45 degrees, the before-and-after difference is even clearer, which I like. Even though only my cheekbones were reduced, my image seems to have changed to a much softer, more feminine doll-like facial line, so I was very satisfied.
1 month I tend to swell easily, so I managed the residual swelling by getting radiofrequency massages at the clinic. I got through it well with no pain or discomfort at all, and I’m so satisfied because it feels like I’ve been reborn with a doll-like facial line. Every time I visited the clinic, everyone was so kind and responded well, which was nice.
3 months Thanks to the director performing the cheekbone surgery meticulously, I had no discomfort at all, could open my mouth well, and stayed comfortable. They are very well known for doll-like facial lines, have an anesthesiology specialist on-site, no accidents, and long experience, so I feel like I did well choosing Cookie.
6 months The surgery went well with Director Jung Sung-mo, just as much as I wanted and as discussed in the consultation. I only had my cheekbones done, but I like that I look so feminine, like a doll-like facial line When I met my friends, they complimented me, saying my face looks like it might disappear hehe I also hear that my face has gotten smaller than before and that I look more feminine. I feel like I made the right choice getting facial contouring
