Hehehehe before before before hello! I had orthodontic treatment at Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery because of malocclusion and facial asymmetry, then underwent two-jaw surgery + 3 types of facial contouring (cheekbones, square jaw, chin), and now I am 3 months into post-surgery orthodontic treatment! Since I look at my face every day, I did not really feel the swelling much, but when I compared it with my 1-month photos, it had definitely gone down a lot hahaha The director also said that the residual swelling is not easily visible to the eye and continues to go down subtly. At first, I was a little worried because it seemed like the swelling was not going down well, but looking at the photos, just as the director said, it had been continuing to go down little by little. They say it keeps going down until 6 months; the major swelling is all gone, and for now I think only some awkward-looking parts of my face and residual swelling around the philtrum area remain!
The discomfort from two-jaw surgery seems almost over, and only the discomfort from orthodontic treatment remains.
