After <after surgery> Before <before surgery> I removed the hump at the same time as functional rhinoplasty. I was pretty ignorant about plastic surgery, but I had been suffering from rhinitis and learned about functional rhinoplasty through a friend's recommendation. As someone who once thought, "Why would a man get plastic surgery?" I think functional rhinoplasty is really worth considering for people with rhinitis.
It has been about 9 months now, and while first looking into functional rhinoplasty, I realized I had prejudice against plastic surgery. After doing it myself, I thought that plastic surgery isn't only a bad thing, and that it can give much more satisfaction than expected.
Around this time of year, pollen flies around too, and I had a deviated septum, meaning the bone inside my nose was crooked and interfered with breathing, but functional rhinoplasty improved it. I can breathe really well now, and the headaches I always had have also gotten better.
And while I was at it, I also got rid of the hump and refined it into a straight line. For men here who are suffering from rhinitis, I think functional rhinoplasty is a surgery worth considering!
