Before/after I’m leaving a review three months after having hump nose and bulbous nose surgery using no implant (ear cartilage + septal cartilage + osteotomy + hump shaving + columella lowering)! For a long time, my wide, bulbous nose was a complex, so after making a big decision, I had nose surgery with Dr. Kim Da-alm at Oblie Plastic Surgery. Personally, the things I pursued most while getting nose surgery were naturalness and safety.
Dr. Da-alm accepted the parts I wanted well and designed it to suit my overall atmosphere. Usually, when people get nose surgery, many want a flashy, sharply raised style or an elegant-glamorous style, but rather than that kind of style, I thought it would suit me better to fill in and refine the lacking parts of my existing nose, so I proceeded naturally.
It was implant-free, but until about one month after surgery, there were still parts that felt somewhat awkward or uncomfortable. Now that I’m entering the third month, there is almost no discomfort, and it just feels like my own nose to the point that I forget I had surgery haha
However, the nasal tip still feels firm, and overall it looks a bit plump, so I had slight concerns. When I asked the hospital during my recent checkup visit, they said the swelling has not fully gone down yet, so depending on the person, from 6 months to as long as 1 year, the final shape still needs to be watched!
So I think I also need to manage it well during this time so my nose can gradually settle into an even prettier shape :)
