I got a consultation for 3 types of facial contouring with Director ㅇㄱㅁ at ㅇㅇㄷ. But after the first consultation, I thought about it and ended up booking surgery at this hospital right away, so I also want to ask for some advice from everyone who has experience shopping around for consultations.
▪︎Consultation experience: First one (I only consulted at ㅇㅇㄷ and currently have surgery booked. There are 2 weeks left until surgery) ▪︎Consultation fee: 0 won ▪︎Consultation process: CT scan > consultant > director > consultant consultation ▪︎Consultation details: Asked whether I had any personal complexes / Explained, based on my bone CT, how the surgery would be performed if doing the 3 procedures / I asked whether liposuction or nose surgery would also be needed, and I liked that they honestly said it seemed okay without them. / But the consultation time with the director was not long, and it seemed like the director was going around to many consultation rooms. Since it’s a large hospital, I guess that factory-like feeling can’t be helped. / We couldn’t discuss the celebrity style I wanted or a specific design (but does everyone decide that on the day of surgery, so maybe it’s similar? I don’t have a comparison group, so I’m not sure) / They said I can request to view the CCTV, and more than anything, I liked that there is a 24-hour emergency contact line after surgery / The price seems to vary quite a bit depending on how you discuss it with the consultant. / The consultation was friendly and well done, but objectively, when I thought about whether it was trustworthy from a patient’s perspective, I wasn’t sure it was. It felt like they were slightly framing everything in a positive direction.
While leaving this review, I have some questions I want to ask everyone who has shopped around for consultations, so I’ll leave them below..
After booking the surgery, I was watching YouTube today and came across a video about medical accidents, and when I had my consultation, the consultant said they had never had any accidents at all in facial contouring. Since large hospitals have many surgical patients, statistically the accident rate is inevitably relatively higher, but can I trust the claim that there have been no accidents? That’s what I started thinking..
As far as I know, around Sinsa this is a very large hospital for facial contouring, so if anyone who has shopped around for contouring consultations decided not to choose ㅇㅇㄷ, I’d like to ask the reason! Because it’s a large hospital, I thought it would be great if it goes well, but if it doesn’t, it could really go terribly wrong..
With 2 weeks left, I’m suddenly so scared. Tomorrow I’m thinking of maybe going to three more places just in case: ㄴㄴ (Director ㄱㅇㅎ), ㅈㅇㅈ (Director ㄱㅎㅇ), and ㄴㅌ.. I don’t know if it’s okay to just have the surgery as booked.. Please give me advice or reviews
