I lived feeling satisfied with my natural nose, and it was such a pretty nose that I even had a friend who took photos of my nose to a plastic surgery clinic, but I don’t know what possessed me. In March 2020, I was told here and there that they would do things for me as a surgery model, and that my nose would look pretty if it were lifted just a little, so I got my nose done… The moment I removed the splint and looked in the mirror, there was someone who looked like a muscular cartoon character calling for galbi-jjim rice bowl haha… My natural nose was a small, slightly upturned straight-with-soft-curve nose.. but suddenly it was a man’s nose… It had become a bulky, arrow-like straight nose..? I thought it was swelling… but even as time passed, the drooping nasal tip + arrow nose did not resolve, so the same hospital did a free revision for me a year later~ I thought it had gotten a bit better, but scar tissue filled the nasal tip, and it was seriously stressful… Even after masks were no longer required, I always wore a mask because of my nose… I was so, so stressed about my nose to the point that I developed social avoidance Then I found out that full nose implant removal was possible, and after going around for consultations, I had a consultation at Siwoo Plastic Surgery. As soon as the director saw my pre-surgery photos, he said that I looked much better back then and that if I had surgery, I could go back to my natural nose, so I paid the deposit that very day and decided to have surgery on the earliest possible date! The surgery was done under sedation + local anesthesia, so I woke up in the middle and it was a little hard from then on…!! But being able to see the director personally performing the surgery with my own eyes made me feel more reassured haha And after surgery, while I was resting in the recovery room, the nurse showed me all the photos of my scar tissue + silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage that had been removed, along with the whole removal process, so it felt even more relieving..! There really was an enormous amount of scar tissue in my nose. That was why every time I smiled, the arrow nose got worse, and why my nasal tip was bulky even normally…!!! On the long-awaited day the splint came off, I was so happy when I looked in the mirror.. I was so happy that it had returned about 70-80% to my natural nose, and my friends even asked whether I had double-jaw surgery because my midface looked so much shorter…!!! They said I looked younger too, so I was really so happy I didn’t even go through a contraction phase, so it gradually kept getting better! Now, at the one-year mark, it has become completely the same as my natural nose haha So I am so, so happy, and I only feel grateful to Director Lee Siwoo all the time…!!! I realized that a nose absolutely does not have to be high to be pretty haha It has to suit your own face to be pretty haha I’m never going to get greedy again! And after full nose implant removal, my eyes no longer look pulled together, so I’m happy haha My impression had really gotten worse (I had also had epicanthoplasty as a model, so it was even worse,, I’m getting epicanthoplasty restoration soon too haha)
Anyway, for those who are stressed and worried because of their nose, don’t worry and get full nose implant removal!!! I’m so happy because even concerns about contracture + unexplained pimples and redness on the nasal tip have disappeared haha Everyone, have a happy day!!!
