I had my first surgery with Director Kwon Chan at Huhuhuhu... using autologous + donated costal cartilage, and because a protrusion developed on the bridge of my nose, they did a revision surgery for free as an A/S. Even after the revision, as the swelling went down, the protrusion was still there. So I thought, “I’m really headed for another revision again,” and kept putting it off, but today I finally went back to the hospital.
But in the first place, I only had my nasal tip done, and I really hate that I’m now going to have a third surgery under sleep anesthesia. Even if I go to another hospital, I’m now a revision-surgery patient, right? I hate that so much too. From the beginning, I kept telling them, “My goal is not to raise the height! I want to improve the feeling that my nose looks short!” But I’m also not happy with how the shape improved. If it were just that I didn’t quite like the shape after one surgery, I would have just thought, “Let’s be satisfied with this and live with it.” But now I’ve had surgery twice, and whether it’s closed or open, I need surgery again, and it really makes me angry that this is the nose shape I ended up with.
Honestly, I just want a refund, but the doctor said shaving it down is simple, so he would do it for me. But even when I look for other hospitals, I can’t find anywhere I like, and in the first place, I liked this hospital because it had a natural-looking style. So I asked if it would be possible to change directors and have the revision surgery, and they said that’s fine. But when I consulted with the consultant, she said that if I switch to the head director, it would be treated as a revision surgery and cost about 3 million won more. But in the first place, I’m having a revision because this hospital didn’t do the surgery properly, and is it right to ask for 3 million won more just to touch up only the nasal tip again..? Even if I’m a special case, anyway, I had surgery at this hospital, and I think if they can take responsibility here, they should do the surgery responsibly, or otherwise refund me. They said there’s a cost difference between the head director and the director. I was willing to pay that much, but hearing that it would cost more because it’s a revision surgery made me so angry. Why am I having a revision in the first place... After hearing that, I wanted to go to another hospital for surgery, and if this goes to a dispute mediation committee or something, how much of a refund could I get? My first surgery was 2.8 million won, so it’s not a huge amount, but I’m so angry that my nose has to be opened three times, and I want compensation for that part. Every time I took photos, I was even more bothered than before my nose surgery... and the nose shape itself isn’t what I wanted in the first place.. The very last photo is my original nose, and having surgery three times just to change this much... it feels like the side effects >>> the effect.
And in the first place, the photos I showed before my first surgery were all a style with a long columella like Hani’s nose, but they never told me things like, “You can’t do it like this,” or “You need silicone,” and other reviews from this hospital looked quite dramatic with cartilage alone, so I trusted them and did it..
