Since I was little, my nose has always felt too bulbous and cave-like, and because of the hump on my nose I was under so much stress. This time, during vacation, I decided to go ahead and try it, so I looked around several places and went in for consultations! Since it would be my first surgery and I didn’t want a factory-like place, I looked mainly at one-doctor clinics and booked consultations!

This was the first place I visited. When I arrived, the coordinators were very kind and guided me, so I filled out the intake form, waited, and then had a consultation with the doctor! The doctor showed me before-and-after photos of similar cases, and gave me a sense of what my nose would look like if I had surgery, which helped a lot. Because I have rhinitis, they also discussed functional nose surgery with me, and the after-service was well set up, so I put it high on my list! (I’m still deciding..) But autologous costal cartilage is more expensive than other materials, and since they said I would need to proceed with autologous costal cartilage, the price being a bit burdensome is honestly true..!

It used to be a two-doctor clinic, but I heard it had recently split off and opened as a one-doctor clinic, so I went there! They already had good reviews about nose surgery, so it was on my list, and it was also close to ㅋㅂㅈ, so this was the second clinic I visited. After arriving, I filled out the intake form with the coordinator, waited a bit, and got a free CT scan. The wait wasn’t very long, and I was able to consult with the doctor right away. The consultation was quite enjoyable, and based on the CT they had just taken, the discussion went on for a long time. I liked that they honestly explained the pros and cons of autologous costal cartilage and implants. That said, even if you go with an implant-based surgery, the price is still on the high side
Both doctors were very kind, and I liked that they understood my needs and suggested different options first. Looking at before-and-after photos of similar noses, they helped me define the angles, and they seemed confident about nose surgery, so I could trust them.
I’m planning to think it over for a few days because of the price and things like implants/autologous costal cartilage, then go back for another consultation!
