Before after afterIt’s been 1 month since my alar reduction. I had been thinking about nose surgery for decades(?) when a plastic surgery director I know told me not to put anything inside my nose, especially not silicone because if something goes wrong it can be irreversible and contracture can happen by luck of the draw, so after thinking about it, I decided to do only alar reduction.. Actually, I heard a famous YouTuber had it done here, so I watched the video almost more than 7 times and booked a consultation right away. Something about the clinic atmosphere, and the fact that one director performs the surgeries and they said he has a patent too, made me consult with the manager on the same day and make a reservation right away.
And when you walk into each plastic surgery clinic, you can kind of see the staff’s impression, right? At places that do really excessive plastic surgery, even the staff have that kind of feel, so it seems very artificial, but here everyone had something gentle? They had a very natural beauty (of course I’m not saying they had surgery, just the feeling..), so I think I was drawn to it more. I really think I looked in the mirror every day. Constantly lololololol But it couldn’t be helped.. It was my first nose surgery, so I had no sense of whether this was swelling or not, so until the swelling went down, I drank 5 packs of pumpkin juice a day and stuff. As a result, now that a month has passed, none of the people around me notice. But there was one friend who asked if I had somehow gotten prettier, or lost weight?
The director told me to be careful for at least 2 weeks, so I really opened my mouth only a little and lived very cautiously, but now I think almost all the swelling is gone. A slightly firm feeling remains just a little, but overall it’s almost going the way the YouTuber I watched said it would. haha It makes you wonder, did something change? But there’s some kind of prettier feeling haha Before, only my nose stood out, but now my face feels more harmonious than before.
Even up to week 1, my nose looked a bit gathered together, felt firm, and my alae felt thick, but now there’s none of that feeling and it’s very natural. They told me not to exercise for 1-2 months, so I haven’t been able(?) to go to Pilates, but I want to recover completely soon and go exercise. Then I’m hoping the fat around my nose will go down more and it will look slimmer. At first I wondered if they had inserted the columella? But looking at the photos, it definitely,, came down lolololololol
For sure, even at a glance, my nostrils don’t show, and before it somehow felt unfashionable, but now it feels a little more refined. It’s really like a prettiness only I know about..? They say alar reduction is a surgery for self-satisfaction, and I think that’s really true haha Even when I met the plastic surgeon I know, he just glanced a little at the nose area and didn’t say anything. Even though he specialized in nose surgery,, I think he was probably wondering, did she do something? What is it? and was unsure. Natural enough that even a specialist doesn’t notice.. For about the first week, you might think there’s no change because of swelling, but for anyone with that concern, I want to say to wait at least 1 month for swelling to go down.
They say the nose shape gradually settles more naturally over 6 months, so I’m looking forward to what’s ahead even more!! I’m the type whose swelling goes down a bit slowly, so even though I still have some residual swelling in my nose, it’s already this much. Somehow this got long as I wrote it, but the scar is barely visible and I like it. I think after 6 months, I can just get laser treatment for the slight redness under the nose. I originally had some redness too, but while removing the barely visible scar, I think it would be good to get this laser as well haha Anyway, I’m grateful to the director,, if you have any questions, I’ll answer them.
