Before <After my first nose surgery>Before <After revision surgery>It may be hard to believe, but the first photo is after I had nose surgery. In other words, it’s the photo from before my revision rhinoplasty.
I thought it would be enough to just make the bridge sharp and keep it natural, so I left the design to them, and after getting the nose surgery, I was satisfied at first, but the more time passed, the less I liked it.
I thought, as long as there’s no functional problem, that’s fine! But still, since I’d already spent the money, I started wondering if I couldn’t get a better revision, and I felt lost, so I ended up looking around at different clinics.
I told every director I met that I didn’t like how my nostrils showed from the front, how the nasal tip was blunt and not sharp, and even the length.
After going around to a few places, I found the clinic that felt like the best fit. I think I liked the explanation about the clinic from the consultant and also how kind the staff were.
It’s been about a month since the revision surgery, and I did silicone for the bridge and autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip. Unlike before, my nose is now straight without a curve, so I’m pretty satisfied.
Seeing how well my revision rhinoplasty turned out, when I look at old photos, I think my original nose really was very small. That’s how much I like how I look now after the change.
My friends ask where I got it done and compliment me that it turned out well, so I feel proud.
-Note- I separately bought and used an anti-adhesion agent and anti-inflammatory spray that can be purchased at the clinic. Since it’s a clinic where many people come for revision rhinoplasty, they had this kind of aftercare system established, so I was able to undergo surgery with peace of mind.
I gathered the courage to decide on revision rhinoplasty, chose the clinic, and even had surgery using autologous costal cartilage. My small wish is that I can maintain this sharp nose as it is.
