Petit Procedure Reviews

Labia minora... Is this the right category??

I’m bringing out all kinds of surgical experiences because it’s hard to earn points. About 2–3 years ago, I noticed my labia minora protruding while doing wide squats (they had never protruded before). They had probably been gradually stretching, but I think they crossed the limit around that time. Since they rubbed and felt uncomfortable whenever I exercised, they started bothering me as much as hemorrhoids did when I had them. I hurriedly researched clinics online, visited one, and had surgery.

Surprisingly, although I’ve always considered in-person consultations important, I only researched online and didn’t visit multiple clinics after seeing that this clinic had an enormous number of before-and-after photos and considering its surgical equipment. My reasons for choosing the clinic were: 1. Many before-and-after photos 2. Surgical method (laser incision) 3. I wanted to have Brazilian hair removal at the same time (ApoGee Elite Plus device + a clinic offering sedation).

I had the procedure with the medical director and underwent labia minora reduction, correction of the double fold, and clitoral surgery. I’m not sure of the exact price, but it was roughly around that amount. Anyway, because it was a laser incision, my vagina felt like it was on fire for about three days. I could walk around from about a week later, and it took roughly two weeks to feel completely comfortable.

There was a very slight asymmetry at first, so they provided a touch-up. (After the surgery, the female director said it looked like rose petals, which made me a little embarrassed lol.)

There are two methods: laser incision, and conventional incision followed by suturing. I heard that conventional incision with suturing recovers quickly, but it may leave suture marks and can make the area look wrinkled. Laser incision recovers slowly and feels like it’s on fire.

As an aside, I also had five Brazilian hair-removal sessions here (about 85% of the pubic hair is gone). This was expensive, partly because I used sedation; I think it was 250,000 won per session, excluding VAT. When I had it done at another large-scale dermatology clinic, not a single hair disappeared, but after only five sessions here, almost all of it was gone. Hair removal is on the expensive side (even without sedation), so I stopped after five sessions, but I’m still extremely satisfied. Anyway, I’m overwhelmingly satisfied with my labia minora surgery.
