It has been 120 days since LASEK. Equipment used: EX500 StreamLight (all-laser LASEK)
For pain, on days 1 and 2 I had eye stinging, and from the night of day 3 to the early morning of day 4, I had eye stinging + a poking, stabbing kind of pain. (Painkillers barely work, so you have to endure this)
Compared with other people who had severe eye pain, mine was tolerable. The surgery was over in less than 2 minutes for both eyes, and except for putting in the anesthetic drops, everything was done by laser, so it was a surgery that depended very little on the doctor's hands.
My pupils are on the larger side, so I was told that as a side effect I would have glare/halos at night, and I do actually have glare/halos, but I think the advantage of not wearing glasses is greater, so I am satisfied with the surgery.
