Here is my review of the ultrasound lifting lasers I’ve tried so far. I had them done at three clinics: Gangnam Ppeum, Abijou Yeouido, and Toxnfill Gangseo.
I think the price ranges were similar. It was more about which treatment had an event discount in which month... Shurink was 300 shots, Liftera was 3000 shots, and Doublo Gold was also 300 shots. For all of them, I received treatment down to the double chin area, excluding the forehead.
In terms of effectiveness, Liftera pen type > Doublo Gold > Shurink, in that order. I definitely felt like there had to be some pain for it to be effective. Not during the treatment, but around day 2 or 3 afterward? Around then, or for as long as about a week, when I felt something pulling when making certain facial expressions? A tingling, numb feeling! When I had that sensation, the effects were visible and lasted longer.
It didn’t hurt much while I was receiving it. I didn’t use anesthesia.
And I think it also depends a lot on the doctor’s technique. Even with the same Shurink, the effect differed by clinic! I liked the doctors who pressed it closely against the skin, and I liked the Liftera pen type. If Shurink hasn’t worked for you, try it once~
