Nose Surgery Reviews

I think my hump nose surgery turned out amazing!

Before/after/after-now, it’s still a bit swollen. Once the swelling goes down, I’m planning to take proper photos again and post a detailed review. The “before” side view and the photo right after surgery on the operating table were taken by the manager because I was so curious. How does it look? I was always stressed because I had a dorsal hump, a low nasal tip, and the heights of both sides of my nasal bridge were different, so my glasses would sit crooked every time I wore them. Not only that, but from the front my nose was deviated, and my nostrils were different on each side too.

For the surgical method, they didn’t osteotomize the hump but shaved it down instead (osteotomy was expensive and felt like too major of a surgery, so I said I wouldn’t do it), and they also shaved both sides of the nasal bridge to make the heights match. I asked them not to use any implant, and to use septal cartilage only for the nasal tip, making it natural and not too high, in line with my own nasal contour. They also adjusted the nasal axis to make both nostril sizes match. I had the splint removed yesterday. How does it look?

It turned out well, right? What do I even do with this nose line… I love it so much. It’ll stay like this, right? The nasal tip won’t sink or anything as the swelling goes down, right? When I came home with taping on my nose, my mom gave me a smack on the back, but today after seeing the splint removed, she said, “It turned out pretty well, didn’t it?”… Then she just said coolly, “It’s better than not having done it,” and went inside. lol
