For reference, my eyes were a revision surgery this time, and my nose was my first surgery. A really long time ago, I just got double eyelid surgery at a local ophthalmology clinic, but the line was not only too natural lol, as more time passed, one eye kept loosening, so I ended up getting revision surgery.
Maybe because it was a revision, I had several consultations, but everyone heard only the word “revision surgery” and told me to do an incision.. I did want my double eyelids to become defined again, but I was worried that if I did an incision it would look too obvious (my skin is on the thinner side), so places that just consulted me like “just do it~” without an exact reason did not appeal to me. Everyone, when you go around for consultations, if they look at you roughly without much reason and tell you to do surgery this way, do not do it.. lol Being able to filter what you hear moderately is also a skill.
Anyway, since I wanted to do my nose while doing my eyes, I felt it was even harder because I was looking for a place that would operate while considering overall harmony. I thought it would be better to consider the surgeon’s experience rather than just vaguely looking at review photos, so I searched that way.
Then I found this place and went for a consultation. They checked detailed things like my skin type and eyelid laxity and told me revision surgery was possible with natural adhesion, so it was easy to understand and I trusted them lol. The surgeons who consulted me for the nose and eyes were different, but they still examined and consulted in great detail so that the eyes and nose would be harmonious.
From the surgeon’s view, rather than revising both double eyelids, it would be enough to fix only the one side that had loosened. So I had revision surgery on only one side with natural adhesion, and for my nose, they used donated costal cartilage and septal cartilage, and I also had bulbous nose correction.
The facial image I wanted most after plastic surgery was a richly glamorous-looking face, and it really turned out the way I wanted, so I am satisfied lol. Honestly, in the beginning I remember some bruising coming up and having a hard time because of the splint, but the more it settled, the higher my satisfaction became, so I felt I could handle that level of discomfort lol.
Even though I had my eyes and nose done by different surgeons, neither area looks out of place and everything settled well, so I am even more satisfied. My friends also always compliment me whenever they see my face, saying I am the number one person who did well to get surgery lol.
If I had one tip for reducing swelling, I diligently did warm compresses from around the time yellow bruising started appearing on my face. And I also realized that people whose only one side has loosened do not necessarily need to get both sides done.. I also learned very clearly through this opportunity that there are surgical methods suited to each skin type lol.
Now that more than a year has passed, my friends ask me all the questions about plastic surgery lol (I think it is because I heard a lot of information during the consultation). People I meet for the first time sometimes ask, after we get a little closer, where I had surgery because they want to go for a consultation too lol. Since there are also many people here looking into plastic surgery, I hope everyone goes to plenty of consultations, decides carefully, and has successful surgery.
