I chose Glovi because of the director’s confident attitude during the before-and-after consultation and the manager’s detailed explanation. It has been 4 weeks since I had incisional surgery, double-line excision, and ptosis correction.
After surgery, they check the progress once on day 1 and once on day 6. The A/S period is 3 years.
They told me I would be able to resume daily life from one week after surgery, and that was really true. On day 6 after surgery, I had the stitches removed, and from the next day I was able to put on makeup, wear glasses, and go to work right away. Right after surgery, I had a pulling sensation and dry eyes, but these disappeared after 2-3 weeks. The scars are still uneven, and I am especially bothered by the pinched feeling and pigmentation on my right eye. A few days ago, I made a separate appointment and visited for a progress check, and they gave me a scar injection. They said the scars keep getting worse until the second month, so I am going to wait and see.
Before surgery, I had a lot of worries and questions, but they did not act bothered and waited while telling me to ask everything I had prepared, so I was really grateful. They did not answer vaguely about the possibility of side effects, but answered with numbers and probabilities, which made me feel much more reassured.
One thing that was disappointing was that before surgery, they said they would do ptosis correction on only one point of the left eye, but after the surgery was over, the right eye had also been corrected. I feel disappointed that it would have been better if they had explained it even during the surgery. Even now, my right eye very slightly feels like it opens wider than the left, and when I sleep, the right eye also closes less than the left. The scarring is worse on the right side too. The line on my left eye had been too high and did not look good, so improving the left eye was the main purpose of the surgery. As a result, the left eye turned out perfectly well, but this time, on the contrary, it feels like the right eye was touched too much, so I feel a little disappointed.
I am generally satisfied, but for the parts I am disappointed with, since it has only been one month, I am going to keep watching a little longer and hope they improve.
