Nose Surgery Reviews

It's been a little over 3 months since my nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage

Before <before surgery> Before <photo taken at the hospital before surgery> After After After <about a month?? after the nose surgery> After After After <3 months after nose surgery> I liked my nasal bridge, but I had a severe bulbous nose, so I had a big complex about my nose itself. So I tried Hiko and even got nose filler, and at first it looked okay, but over time it spread, drooped, and went back to my original nose. During that process, I had such a reality check.. haha.. So I thought that rather than spending time and money on things like that, it would be better to just get rhinoplasty once and for all.

At the hospital where I had my nose surgery, they said there was no need to shave down my nasal bridge, and that they could just remove what needed to be removed (filler, Hiko) and correct the bulbous nose, nasolabial angle, and nasal tip defining point.

I used 6 mm silicone together with autologous costal cartilage. Since it was my first rhinoplasty and I was using autologous costal cartilage, I was a bit worried, but after seeing many reviews from women who had rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage too, I was able to gather some courage lol.

Honestly, the rib pain gets much better after 2 weeks. I think it took more than a month to get completely better, but still, it was not to the point where daily life was difficult.

I'll just say the scar is getting better lololol I don't know how to explain it. A scab has formed!!.. lololol Without any bumpy parts~ Honestly, I think it is just a matter of time for the scab to fall off and heal again.

From here on, I'll try sharing the things I wrote down in my phone notes lol.

There was really almost no nose pain. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the cotton packing was what almost killed me. The humidifier saved me.

There was some swelling, but after going for a walk it would get better, then in the morning it would swell up completely and later subside again, and so on.

Dryness inside the nose remained a bit until about one month. It is good to keep the humidifier running constantly. When I laughed widely, the autologous costal cartilage felt uncomfortable, and the nasal tip felt slightly uncomfortable, but that also went away after about a month and a half. Since it was open surgery, I was worried about an external surgical scar, but as time passed without my thinking about it, it healed so much that it truly was not noticeable at all. There was no scar tissue, and honestly, I think all the discomfort gets better after a month. At 2 to 3 months, the major swelling went down and I could see the minor swelling going down better, so I kept taking photos.

What is this, now that I've moved it here, there isn't much to it.

I'm really sorry.

Anyway, please know I wrote this hoping it would help^^..
