The surgical outcome was not good due to severe adhesions and other issues, so I had decided I would just live like this, but then I made up my mind to have revision surgery. The complaints I had from the first surgery were
● Adhesion in the right eye (a pinhole-like scar formed) ● Uneven eye height between left and right (I think they said it was because I already had asymmetry) ● The outer corner of my eye changed into a small ㄷ-shaped form
Those were the three things above, and I thought they could not be helped. The clinic also did not really take any major action. I was barely getting by, trying to comfort myself by searching for really serious side effects and failed cases. The consultation with the director ended briefly in under 3 minutes, and I did not see the director during the follow-up process after surgery. Since it was my first surgery, I also thought it would get better with time and let it pass, but for years the sensation of pulling on the periosteum?? at the outer ends of my eyes kept not going away, so I decided on revision surgery. This was the biggest side effect. When I bent at the waist or lowered my head, I really hated the tearing sensation on both sides of my eyes, as if they were going to pop out. Also, thread-like eye discharge kept forming toward the back of my eyes, so as I kept rubbing or wiping my eyes, they became dry and stung. At that time, whenever I had to bend at the waist, I always closed my eyes.
Back then, I was a designer working at a web agency that exclusively handled medical clinics and hospitals, so I found this clinic through an introduction from an employee at a client company, and I think the cost was around the 2 million won rangeㅠ When that person introduced it to me, this clinic was not famous, and it seemed like it had not been open long, but I trusted the client company employee and went once. It was a clean place of a decent size, and the transportation was convenient too.
(++At the time, I was so desperate that I thought the amount did not matter as long as I could improve, and I’m sorry I cannot remember the exact amount because the card transaction inquiry period has passed)
There was one director, and the consultation time with the director was much longer than the consultation time with the consultant. I think he spent over 30 minutes just consulting with me. He explained in great detail how much improvement could be expected, what kind of structure and characteristics my eyes had, and so on, so I felt reassured. I had the consultation on Friday, then had surgery the very next day, Saturday, and went home.
At this time, I also said I wanted to correct the double-eyelid line I had gotten about 10 years earlier, but he said it was a line that suited me well enough to carry for life and told me to leave it as is, so I had canthoplasty restoration & revision surgery. A few weeks after getting the stitches removed, I had zygoma reduction surgery and went back home, so I could not go to the clinic, but I plan to visit before this year ends. As of now, I am really satisfied, my eye shape has softened, and I’m moved to be free from the pulling sensation:) These days I joined several online cafes to get information because of liposuction, and I’m happy that this place is mentioned often!
