I only went to places without medical scandals. ㄷㅇㅇ Director ㄱㅊㅁ, consultation fee x There were only two elevators and they were a bit narrow. The whole building is the ㄷㅇㅇ clinic, and I remember there were a lot of patients in the elevator. On Gangnam Unnie, Kakao, and Google Maps, I don’t think there were many posts saying their eye surgery failed or that they had side effects. But around 2022, there were many posts saying the consultant was rude and the waiting time was very long. I definitely waited about 30 minutes. But the consultation itself was good. They answered everything I asked and told me how they would do things after thinking it through. I came expecting double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and lateral canthoplasty, but they said the space between my eyes is too narrow for lateral canthoplasty, so they recommended leaving out lateral canthoplasty and doing epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, and non-incisional buried sutures. I hadn’t really thought about ptosis correction, but they suggested it on their own. I did think slightly, “ptosis correction, really..?” but I’m debating because I feel like my eyes might end up like the ㄷㅇㅇ ad model’s eyes.

Consultation appointments alone were extremely hard to get, so I booked 2 months in advance. Waiting times are not well kept. I arrived on time but waited 30 more minutes. There were also many reviews saying the staff here were bad, but the consultant assigned to me was very kind and explained everything even without me asking. The director said to do only epicanthoplasty and non-incisional buried sutures. Similar to ㄷㅇㅇ, they didn’t recommend lateral canthoplasty and said to do only what was necessary, so I trusted them. There were many reviews saying the staff had no manners and that you need to arrive 30 minutes early to keep your consultation time, but aside from the consultation time, for me, not really…? Everyone feels differently, but still, the director seems skilled. Reactions were generally like, `My acquaintance was satisfied, but the staff were so rude`, `The director gave a good consultation, but the consultant was not great`

It did feel like they were recommending it somewhat aggressively. They said Director ㅅㅎ specializes only in lateral canthoplasty and is supposedly the best in the country or something. They said Director ㅇㅅㄱ would handle epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery. My eyes are definitely narrow. So other places told me it would be better not to do lateral canthoplasty, and I’m debating whether to go here or not. If I truly wanted to become prettier, wanted to make my eyes totally huge like saucers, or really had nowhere else to go, I think I might go. Since they recommended lateral canthoplasty, it felt like they weren’t thinking about the patient, so it was kind of not great….
