Consultation review for posterior canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty + lateral canthal fixation at The Plastic Surgery Clinic

I wanted posterior canthoplasty, but I was worried about getting a ㄷ-shaped result, so while looking things up, I found out on YouTube that The Plastic Surgery Clinic offers something called lateral canthal fixation, which addresses posterior canthoplasty problems. When I called, The Plastic Surgery Clinic was running an event, so I went in for a consultation~~ During the consultation, manager Kim Tae-rin consulted with me, and she was kind, so my first impression was good~ Then Director Choi Seok-min came in, looked at my eyes, and said that doing lateral canthal fixation would reduce the chance of a ㄷ-shape. Since the outer corners of my eyes turn upward, he recommended lower canthoplasty as well~ Lower canthoplasty wasn’t in my plans, so I thought about it a lot, and cost was also a concern haha But when I heard the total price, maybe because they were running an event, it wasn’t that expensive. Honestly, when I checked other hospitals too, they were much more expensive, so I decided to go with this place. And on the day of surgery, I was worried that the surgery might turn out uneven, and I was also very worried about posterior canthoplasty side effects, so I requested one more consultation with the director~! At the hospital, they took photos and, based on the photos, explained in detail how they would operate in relation to my impression, as well as side effects and unevenness issues. (Here, when I saw them explaining while drawing lines on the monitor, I thought, do they really explain things this kindly and thoroughly?) They said the surgery would be done under sedation anesthesia, so there would be no anesthesia pain, which was good. I’ll post a review after the surgery later too~!
