I got my natural double eyelids fixed because they were drooping into double and triple folds

I’ve lived until now without double-eyelid surgery. I thought that if I had double-eyelid surgery, it would look even more scarred and unattractive after drooping with age. I had my own natural double eyelids, so I lived fine, but as I got older, they turned into triple and quadruple folds instead of double eyelids. At some point, it got to the point where the line wouldn’t form without double-eyelid tape, so I hurriedly came to Korea. As soon as I arrived in Korea, I lined up hospital consultation schedules... At the first hospital consultation, they recommended an incisional method, and said they couldn’t proceed with surgery otherwise. When I said I didn’t want that, they didn’t even give me a quote and basically kicked me out. There was no consultation about the style I wanted, no explanation, and they were rude. At iFit too, they recommended an incisional method. But I heard and understood the explanation for why it wouldn’t work otherwise, so I said okay, I’ll do it, and set a date, but my family was completely against it.. Even at my age, I’m still scared of my mom, so I had another consultation and asked them to fix it without incision. The director said that if it wasn’t incisional, it probably wouldn’t be meaningful, and asked how about not doing surgery, but I told them it was so inconvenient that I couldn’t even do makeup without double-eyelid tape, and asked them to fix it with sutures. I said I came to Korea because of this and couldn’t just leave... In the end, while fixing the eyelids with sutures, I also had posterior and lower canthoplasty done together, and I had surgery yesterday. I was touched because they set the design in such detail. My right eye would form double folds when tired, and my left eye would even form triple folds, so it must have been difficult. For now my eyes are still very swollen, but it’s not uncomfortable to open them, and I’m waiting for the swelling to go down, but I’m satisfied. If I had gone to another hospital, they absolutely wouldn’t have done a non-incisional buried-suture method for me. The consultant, director, and other staff were all kind, and there was no surgery pressure. So I really trusted them. If the sutured line comes undone, then I’ll either do an incision here again or get it sutured again. I hope all of you find a hospital that suits you well too.
