I’ve never had double eyelid surgery before. I used to have monolids, but at some point a double fold appeared, my left eye formed a double-eyelid line completely, and my right eye developed an inner double eyelid. Since I thought the eye with the inner double eyelid would eventually become a full double eyelid, I sometimes used eyelid tape, but no matter what I did it wouldn’t appear, so I figured I’d just have surgery and got natural adhesion surgery at [Clinic A]. I set the line height at 10 mm, and because my eye-opening strength is weak and I open my eyes with my forehead, they said that if I only had natural adhesion surgery, the chance of it loosening would be high, so I also had ptosis correction. It’s been 2 weeks since the surgery now, and the swelling feels almost gone to me (it’s not uncomfortable when I open or close my eyes either). People around me said that if it still looks like this at 2 weeks, won’t the line end up getting lower later? But since we originally set it at 10 mm with Dr. Kim Tae-hoon, the height should still be maintained over time, right??
