I do not have double eyelids, and my eyes are a bit narrow and sleepy-looking, so makeup had its limits. I wanted to change my eyes so they would look brighter and more open, so I got double eyelid surgery and lateral and lower canthoplasty at DA! At first, right after the surgery, there was some swelling and the double eyelid line looked very thick, but once the major swelling went down, the eyes felt much brighter and clearer without looking overly obvious. It really seems that the eyes shape the overall impression.
