It's been about 20 years since my first nose surgery. Back then, I had nose surgery with the L-shaped silicone that was popular at the time, and after having a baby and as time passed, my nose overall felt longer..? The tip seemed to have dropped a lot. In today's terms, it was a long midface, right? lol Anyway, while looking into revision surgery this time, what I wanted most was not a flashy, high nose, but a line that would reduce the feeling of a long nose and look youthful and sophisticated. I consulted at ID Hospital with the same doctor my friend had good results with before, and Doctor Hwang Se-hui carefully looked at the condition of the existing silicone all the way to the tip of my nose, explaining one by one what would be good to change, which I appreciated. Since it was a revision after 20 years, I had a lot to worry about, but the doctor also explained the materials and surgical method in detail, which put me at ease. The surgical plan was to replace the existing silicone and use autologous costal cartilage to support the tip while also correcting the long-nose issue. Now, the feeling that my nose used to hang down long has been greatly reduced, and the line from the bridge to the tip looks much smoother. With the tip naturally refined, doesn't my whole face look a little younger too? ^^ At first, I worried a lot about whether it would be okay to operate on a 20-year-old nose again, but it changed naturally in the direction I wanted without feeling overly different, so I'm satisfied. hehe Just changing the nose made my impression look much clearer and more lively than before, so these days I'm still adjusting every time I look in the mirror ^^
