I had it done seven years ago; my columella is crooked and there is cartilage show-through. Since it showed through only six months after surgery, I think they placed cartilage over the nose too thickly and with sharp edges. When I went for consultation because it showed through after six months, they said my skin was thin and recommended revision using autologous dermis. Many people say it shows through again even with dermis, so I just lived with it and am now shopping around for revision surgery after seven years. I wanted a natural look, but I was ignorant
