Originally high nose + hump nose + arrow-tip nose I’m a woman, but my nose was high and had a hump, so it was on the bigger and higher side, and I had a complex about that, so I went to a plastic surgery clinic.
I have a friend around me who had rhinoplasty, and if there’s that “anyone can tell she had nose surgery!” look, that super high, curved-line kind of,,, feeling, no matter how pretty it is, I only see the nose I only end up paying attention to the nose, and what mattered most to me was a surgery that would look as natural as possible, not look operated on, and just remove my complex (even if it meant being a little less pretty). Also, I never wanted to have revision surgery again. So taking that into account too, I had my primary surgery with autologous costal cartilage.
For the quote, I feel like I may have been charged a bit on the expensive side because I told the consultant an expected amount that was too high. This clinic isn’t as famous or well-known as I thought, but I had no side effects, the surgery turned out very well, and it came out very naturally... Before I told my friends, they didn’t know I’d had rhinoplasty........ When I said, “I got nose surgery!” they reacted like, “Huh?? Huh??” and looked closely at my nose, then said, “Oh, you really did? It’s better that you did!!”...
((That doesn’t mean there was no change... I know exactly what changed, and when I meet people for the first time, like on blind dates, I always hear things like “Your nose is really pretty” or “Your nose is subtly high” (when walking side by side). I started hearing that my nose is pretty pretty often... I thought, are they taking a jab at me for having rhinoplasty? But when I asked my friends, they said it really doesn’t show, and if it had looked obvious that I’d had rhinoplasty, people I was meeting for the first time wouldn’t have said my nose was pretty. So I felt relieved _)
Anyway, since I used autologous costal cartilage, I do have a scar on my rib area, but I’m planning to remove it with laser later! Because I didn’t put in silicone, the shape isn’t like, celebrity-level!! But it became a natural nose where the nostrils show slightly.. (People around me said it would probably have looked obvious if I had raised it more... The doctor said he would open the nose and decide whether to raise it more and use ear cartilage to remove any step-off I think it was fortunate.) I am very, very satisfied.
If there’s one thing I’m a bit worried about, I hope the nasal tip doesn’t drop or sag later on.
