When I first said I was getting revision eye surgery, a lot of people told me my current line was fine and that I should just leave it alone. I was also worried that it might turn out worse than my current line, and I thought, “That long recovery again?” Still, I decided I’d at least go for consultations first and then decide!
Whenever I had time, I went to consultations at several places, and I really went to all the places said to be famous. The prices varied widely, from around 2 million to 8 million KRW. They all said the same thing: revision double-eyelid surgery was possible, but canthoplasty was not. I had almost given up too, but only the place where I had surgery said canthoplasty wouldn’t be difficult, and they spoke as if they didn’t understand why the other hospitals said it couldn’t be done? Honestly, I was half in doubt.. Everyone else said it couldn’t be done, but only the director who operated on me said it was possible. But how should I put it? Maybe I trusted my luck. Before I had surgery, I heard this director was already famous, so I trusted them and left it to them.
Wow, I keep thinking what would have happened if I hadn’t had the canthoplasty. Before, the outer white space on one side of my eye was so lacking that I thought my eye looked like it had strabismus. But after the canthoplasty, that strabismus-like look completely disappeared, and my impression became softer too. Even though I had canthoplasty as well, there was no swelling at all, and even now, more than a year later, the canthoplasty hasn’t closed back up and is maintaining well. + I was worried my eye line would become too natural, but I also got a moderate, naturally glamorous look. Anyway, looking at my eye line, I really think I did the right thing I keep thinking what would have happened if I hadn’t done it... haha
