Before<before revision surgery>After<after revision surgery>I was worried about my double eyelid coming undone, uneven epicanthoplasty, and so on, so I had incisional double eyelid surgery + fat repositioning + upper epicanthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty, and it’s almost been two months!
I went to consultations at about 6 places, and until the very end I was really torn between two hospitals, then I had surgery at this clinic.
The reasons I decided were that, since it was revision surgery, I wanted a hospital specializing only in eyes; I thought a single-doctor clinic would likely take good care of follow-up care too; and the consultant understood my worries so well and was kind,, As I went around consultations, there were many places with long waiting times… I thought places like that probably wouldn’t be great with follow-up care either.
Director Lee Seok-hyun consulted kindly in a slightly uncle-like(?) way of speaking, and during surgery he checked everything very meticulously..! The Ryan sticker on the operating room ceiling was cute too.. Maybe because of his hand skills, there was really no swelling. I was actually worried because there was so little.
When I go for progress checks, the doctor looks at everything, and whenever something bothers me and I KakaoTalk the consultant, she kindly guides me and reassures me, so it’s good ㅎㅅㅎ
Also, although I didn’t raise the line a lot, my eyes look really refreshed, so everyone around me keeps complimenting me, saying I did well and became prettier..
For everyone worried about revision surgery, I recommend at least getting a consultation!!!
