Hello! I'm one month post-op from implant-free hooked nose rhinoplasty at Gangnam ㄷㄹ Plastic Surgery, and I'm leaving a review in case it helps anyone with the same concerns as me :)
Those of you with a hooked nose like mine will relate, but my side profile especially was a complex, and even when I laughed I would hold my nose and laugh. So rhinoplasty was really one of the things on my wish list, and after a lot of thought, I finally did it!
I'm meticulous and worry a lot, so I went around for consultations a year ago, gave up, then went around again this year and had consultations at a total of 8 places. But every director had a different style, and many spoke too lightly or negatively, so I was debating. Director ㅅㅈㅇ prioritized safety and told me both the difficult parts and the good parts, so I trusted him. That's why I chose the hospital.
It's already been 1 month since surgery, and people around me say I look softer and more mature than before! Since they didn't shave down the hump a lot, I was worried some of it would remain and look bumpy, but as of now I'm satisfied, and I like the nasal tip too. I hope the swelling doesn't go down any further from here!
I rambled on a lot. Anyway, good luck to everyone planning their first nose surgery!!
