I finally got rid of the wide nostrils that had stressed me out since elementary school
People with bulbous noses will all know that feeling of wanting to do something about these nostrils, even if it leaves scars
So while going around for consultations, they recommended an external incision, so I put down a deposit for the external method and left
Honestly, I did think, “It’s okay even if scars remain,” but I have keloid-prone skin, so the day before surgery I suddenly got really worried The deciding factor was that I saw a long post here saying not to get nostril reduction... After reading that, I suddenly got scared, changed to the internal method, and had the surgery
The doctor also said my nose was the type that would benefit from the external method, but if I was worried about scars, I shouldn’t do the external method And even with the internal method, he said he would try to reduce it as much as possible (No, that one thing he said suddenly made me trust him, so I even got ptosis correction done;;)
And now it’s day 2? (If I did it on Saturday, is it day 2 or day 3?) Anyway, I’m very satisfied (of course, right now my philtrum is swollen, so it looks super long and I look like a monkey) I’m really praising myself for not doing the external method, and I want to thank the person in this community who left that long post telling people not to get nostril reduction
I’m really relieved that it was reduced enough even with the internal method Now I’m really not going to do anything else anywhere This was my first and last plastic surgery episode
And except for the doctor and the consultant manager, everyone was unfriendly The staff sitting at the counter and the operating room nurses... Maybe it was because they were busy, I don’t know
On the day of surgery, when they were taking photos, they were so curt that I just wanted to throw away my deposit and go home... I wondered if I had chosen the wrong clinic
But since I like the result, I forgive them, and the doctor and consultation manager were extremely, extremely kind
And does anyone know when the elongated philtrum goes back to normal...? I already have a protruding mouth, so now I look even more like a monkey;;
