Before Before After After After Oh... It’s already somehow been 3 months since I had double-jaw surgery and two facial contouring procedures (square jaw, chin tip) at the oral and maxillofacial clinic~~!
As I reached the 3-month mark, I went to the hospital for a visit, had facial photos taken, and also had a CT scan.
I thought my swelling really hadn’t gone down after it initially went down a lot, but when I actually went to the hospital, took photos, and compared them, the swelling around my philtrum had gone down a lot, and the swelling in my cheeks had also gone down a lot.!
I had severe malocclusion since I was young, and there was no room for improvement with orthodontic treatment alone, so I decided to have surgery. I really liked how I looked after the change. I hope the remaining swelling goes down quickly too.
I think most of the sensation has come back, but the director said the bones haven’t completely fused yet, so I think I still need to be careful.
As for eating, when I was at 1 month, I could eat ramen only after cutting it finely with scissors, and I had trouble chewing tough foods like meat. But now that I’m at 3 months, there’s no food I can’t eat~~ I was told to avoid tough foods as much as possible, but I feel like I’m eating meat every single day
It’s still only 3 months, but I’m so glad I’m living well, like my everyday life before surgery.
Recently, I went to an older female relative’s wedding and greeted my relatives, but they didn’t recognize who I was. It was their first time seeing me after double-jaw surgery, and the situation where everyone didn’t recognize me at first and then complimented me saying I’d become handsome was funny.
I hope the bones fuse well soon, and I’m not sure whether the swelling will go down more from here, but I hope all the remaining swelling goes away too~~
