I had contouring surgery, and after that I kept feeling dizzy, and eventually I collapsed when 11 days had passed. I was someone who had been completely healthy since birth, so I had never collapsed before. When I got checked, I had no anemia or low blood pressure and everything was normal, but they said my EEG is abnormal. So now I have to get blood tests and even an MRI. I tried talking to the hospital, but all they did was answer, “Yes.” It seems like a side effect of general anesthesia. They say side effects from general anesthesia last a lifetime; the surgery didn’t even turn out satisfactorily, and now I’ve ended up with an illness too. When I first went for the consultation, the doctor sweet-talked me, saying he could reduce my cheekbones by this much, but on the day of surgery he changed it to saying he couldn’t reduce them that much, basically acting like “take it or leave it” and telling me to go to another hospital if I didn’t like it. You know that if you cancel on the day of surgery, you can’t get your deposit back, right? I was taken in by the doctor’s sweet talk, canceled the other hospitals I was looking into, and sent a deposit of 1.1 million won here. Does it make sense that on the day itself they change their words and act like I should cancel if I don’t like it? They say they can’t give me the CCTV recording. As of today, it’s been 2 weeks since surgery, but without medication my daily life is affected, so I can’t live without medicine.
