Before<Before>After<After>While looking into several hospitals, I saw the director’s blog and thought, “This is the place,” so I went to this clinic After reading blog posts filled with the director’s sincerity, I thought the doctor was an ethical and tasteful plastic surgeon, so I made a reservation. Rather than recommending this and that, they pinpointed and told me only the parts that were truly necessary for my face. So after the consultation, I immediately booked the surgery before leaving.
I had chin advancement surgery + cheekbone surgery.
Up until the first month after surgery, the swelling was seriously heavy, so I took swelling-reduction tea, walked often, and really paid a lot of attention to swelling care. When I visited the hospital, I always made sure to get the swelling laser treatment, and they told me not to worry because the swelling would go down slowly.
Now that it’s month 3, a lot of the swelling has gone down, and there is still swelling from the cheekbone area remaining in my cheeks. I think it will take 6 months to 1 year for it to go down completely.
Since my chin tip was advanced by more than 8 mm, I feel like my facial proportions changed dramatically. I feel like I look more mature now, from having a younger, baby-faced impression. People around me say I somehow look different, but the change is not so obvious that they ask if I lost weight. I actually like the natural change better.
I’m going to keep working hard on swelling care for the rest of this year too!
