Review after 2 years of orthodontic treatment

This is my review after 2 years of orthodontic treatment. I had it done at a neighborhood dental clinic, and I got braces because my teeth were misaligned starting from the molar area and because of an implant. I know people usually go to have the wire tightened once every 2-4 weeks, but due to my circumstances, I went to the dentist once a week. I know that after orthodontic treatment ends, you wear a clear retainer for about a year, but since my case was rushed, they told me to wear it for as long as possible Honestly, while getting braces, I did hope there might be changes to my lower face too, but it seemed like the cases where appearance changes from orthodontics are most noticeable are protruding front teeth cases (that was my acquaintance's case). My front teeth didn't protrude, so there wasn't a dramatic change. Pros 1. Before braces, I wasn't that bothered by my crooked teeth, but after finishing, I can definitely see that even teeth look better aesthetically 2. Flossing is easier..lol 3. I was worried my gums might recede, but I don't think that happened to me Cons 1. I've been wearing a clear retainer for 2 years now 2. There is a permanent orthodontic appliance attached behind my front teeth, and although I'm used to it now, I have to visit the dentist regularly 3. This didn't happen before, but when I eat something cold, my teeth feel sensitive
