When a pretty person knows they’re pretty, it’s kind of annoying... But thinking about it, even if a pretty person pretends to be ugly, that would probably be annoying too lol. For me, it was the opposite: I knew I was a little below average, and especially my hump nose and bulbous nose were seriously bad. Both the hump and bulbous nose were at a severe, end-stage level, so I really couldn’t go on like this. I searched for hospitals known for doing hump nose and bulbous nose surgery well, and went to consultations at several places, but I had surgery at the place where the consultation was by far the best. For the surgery, they shaved down the hump, inserted 5 mm of silicone, and for the bulbous nose they tied the nasal tip cartilage. I heard they built and raised the support column using the septal cartilage inside my nose, and made the nasal tip with ear cartilage. My memory isn’t great, so it may not be exactly right, but it should be roughly correct. Maybe because I took medication after surgery, I didn’t have pain, but the 2 days with cotton inside my nose were so hard, and time felt like it wouldn’t pass. The swelling wasn’t severe, and aside from feeling a bit of a sting when the nasal packing and splint were removed, I recovered just fine.
Now it’s been a little over a month, and my bulbous nose and hump nose have improved to a surprising degree. No, seriously, what used to be there is gone!!! I don’t regret spending the money at all. I didn’t know it could improve this much, but it turned out so well. Recently, I also saw a post in a community saying that improving the front view of a bulbous nose is difficult, but even my front view turned out really well. It’s not too pointy, not a chalk-like nose, and not too straight either. People say you should get rhinoplasty expecting revision rhinoplasty, but honestly, I think it’s rare for one single nose surgery to turn out this well lol. Still, I need to be careful with what I say and careful with my nose.
