After so much back-and-forth over cheekbone surgery, it was so scary, but it was such a big complex for me that I finally got the surgery! Because my cheekbones naturally protruded a lot, honestly, I was satisfied right away after cheekbone surgery even before the swelling went down. After getting my cheekbones done, it feels like my facial features became really defined? I wondered, “Were my eyes always this decent?” and I rediscovered the good points of my face. Once my complex disappeared, I finally realized my face’s strengths. And even though I only did my cheekbones, my jawline looked so much better too. But cheekbone surgery is bone-shaving surgery, you know. I don’t want to casually recommend it to just anyone. Honestly, during recovery, it was very hard both mentally and physically. I kept worrying so much about whether the bone would heal well and whether the surgery went well. I thought I wouldn’t be like that, but I worried about everything from start to finish. I really understood people who worry even before the swelling goes down and people who struggle mentally. I hope people get plastic surgery carefully, after researching well, for the purpose of getting rid of a complex rather than out of the desire to become just a little prettier. I also had a CT scan last week, and from what I can see, the bone line looks clean and the result seems good, so now I’ve relaxed a little and am waiting for the bone to heal while being a bit careful, and for the swelling to go down well. I still have some cheek swelling and temporalis muscle swelling, and as for food, I think I can eat almost everything except meat. And my mouth opening fits about one and a half fingers. Before surgery, I used to cover my face with my hair, so if I cover it the same way with my hair, people I know don’t really notice that I had surgery. They just think I gained a little fat in my cheeks? And because I needed the swelling to go down quickly, I took Tripline and Elas A, and hmm, I think it’s better than not taking anything! I also made sure to take vitamins. I heard vitamins help with reducing swelling too. Especially, don’t sleep lying flat. If you do, you swell up right away! For food, during the first week, I bought tofu and New Care, but I couldn’t digest them so I didn’t eat them. I ate Bonjuk, and I also completely soaked Chex Choco in milk, put it in a shaker bottle, shook it, and ate it like thin rice gruel. I think I ate things like mango too. For a spoon, I recommend something flatter and a little bigger than a teaspoon. Eating with a teaspoon gets so frustrating. And after day 10, I got so sick of it that I felt like I might collapse at this rate, so I think I slowly ate rice with soft foods cut finely with scissors. Now I think I can eat well except for hard, tough things and meat.
I didn’t know my cheekbones could go in this much. Honestly, when I saw reviews for Cookie, I wondered if they were Photoshopped, but they weren’t. It’s real.. Really definite. I still need to keep watching it a little longer, but I’m satisfied. The doctors here also took such good care of me, and everything was just good. I hope everyone researches well and gets good results. It got long as I was writing hehe Then I’ll come leave another review after 6 months too.
