I'm posting a review of the place I had a consultation at today. First of all, during my first surgery, I had partial incision, ptosis correction, and epicanthoplasty, but my ptosis was severe, so the ptosis correction did not work well. I was told it would only be possible with a full incision. So I'm currently looking into hospitals for incision double-eyelid surgery and ptosis correction.
1. ㄹㅎ / Director ㅂㅇ The hospital is very large and there are a lot of people, so even if you make a reservation, it takes a long time to get the consultation. (It felt factory-style; it took over 1 hour total from the consultation to getting the estimate.) As rumored, the director was kind and spoke gently. He said that first, after making an incision, he would redo the ptosis correction, and that a little skin excision would also be needed. He said the right side of my epicanthoplasty looked slightly overdone, but since it was not very noticeable, he did not recommend restoration. He marked out the eye line a few times and told me it seemed like it would go well without much difficulty. I don't know whether it's because the place is popular or because it's factory-style, but the surgery schedule was tight. Also, there was no promotional discount or anything, but the cost was quite high. (About 3 million won total.) Regarding the cost, they said the chief director is planning to raise the surgery fee soon. (Not sure if that's true or not; they said it goes up every year.) If I have the surgery, they said I should come in on the 3rd day after surgery, and if that doesn't work, come in on the 7th day to check the progress. I also forgot, but the consultant didn't tell me about the A/S period either, so I didn't hear it. I remembered after leaving the hospital. For now, I was fairly satisfied with the consultation, so I put down a same-day reservation and left. But I'm seriously torn because it felt too factory-style, and I'm doubtful about the post-op care. I went because there was so much talk about it on internet communities, but how should I put it?
