I have a low garlic-shaped nose with a blunt nasal tip! It is my first rhinoplasty, and I had consultations at two places that do natural-looking results,, Next week I have consultations scheduled at ㅈㅇㅅ, ㅋㅇ, and ㅇㄷㅇㅇㅇ, so for now I’ll write reviews of the two consultations first.
1. Director ㄱㅅㅇ at ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ Consultation fee 10,000 won. The consultant felt like an actual older sister. I had to postpone by a day because of work and was a little late, so I ran there, but she received me so kindly.. I briefly filled out the surgery purpose, procedure history, and CCTV consent form, then went to meet the director. No waiting. Doctor? When the director came in, I took off my mask and he examined my whole face thoroughly. Checked underneath my nose. He said 3.5 mm? but then said that number doesn’t really mean anything.. Silicone for the nasal bridge + ear cartilage for the nasal tip I was curious how it would look after surgery, but there was no mention of what shape of silicone would be used; he had me look in the mirror and held and stretched my nasal bridge. He said I originally have a pinched-looking nose? or a nose where the nasal cartilage is underdeveloped or there isn’t enough tissue.. He said if done wrong, it could look extremely obviously operated on, so he recommended raising it only mildly.
2. Single-director ㅁㅌ Consultation fee 10,000 won. They took photos and consulted based on those. I did not take off my mask during the director’s consultation. I went for the consultation on Saturday and waited about 20 minutes. There were waiting patients. When the director’s consultation started, he numbered and wrote down what my concerns were. This can be improved this way, this is not possible. Improving the nose spreading when smiling: no (My nostrils are small, but I have a lot of flesh on my alar area, so my nose is not suitable for alar reduction..) He said that to improve the pinched-nose look, cartilage repositioning or donor dermis filler would be needed (he said donor material absorbs slowly). It was good because he pointed out the nasal line and angle one by one, so I could predict what kind of nose I would end up with. Nasal bridge + nasal tip would use septal cartilage (ear cartilage if insufficient) + cartilage repositioning to improve the pinched nose (donor dermis if insufficient). He said the nasal bridge skin is thin and the nasal tip skin is thick, so it is a difficult nose.. The consultant came in and out between waiting consultations, and she seemed like she wanted to finish quickly. I looked at before-and-after nose consultation photos with the consultant, checked available reservation dates, and came back.
After visiting both consultations.. I started thinking a lot because I realized my nose is trickier than I expected.. Especially after going to the second place, ㅁㅌ, I said I was planning to do both eyes and nose and wanted to improve my old-fashioned look into a more refined one, and they said the eyes would be more dramatic than the nose and recommended doing that, so now I’m wondering if I should make a new list of eye clinicsㅠ Trying to match it to my time off work is making me feel unnecessarily rushed.
