Materials - Used septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and corrected the hooked nose and bulbous nose together!
This is my review at 3 months after nose surgery! Honestly, I recover very quickly, so I already liked it quite a bit at the 1-month mark, but there was still some residual swelling, so I waited it out. As time passed, the swelling gradually went down, and my satisfaction got even higher... Now that it’s been 3 months, I think the swelling is almost all gone haha
What I wanted most was to have the hooked nose neatly refined. I had been thinking about rhinoplasty for a long time, but I was afraid of side effects and also worried whether I’d really be satisfied after surgery, so that was a big reason I couldn’t go through with it.. So I thought about it for a really long time, but in conclusion, I really think I did well by doing it.
Because of the hooked nose, when you looked only at my nose, it gave me a somewhat masculine image. But after smoothing out the nasal dorsum and correcting the bulbous nose too, the shape became slimmer, so my image changed to something much more feminine and refined! My friends around me also say every time they see me that somehow my image changed a lot and that I look feminine, so for some reason I feel even prouder! I had only worried a lot about nose surgery all this time, but since the external result came out just the way I wanted, I’m satisfied and don’t plan to worry about side effects anymore.. Of course, thinking positively will be better mentally too! haha
Maybe because the director looked at everything really meticulously during the consultation, I also adapted well after surgery without major discomfort. Honestly, when I had the splint on, it was a bit stuffy, but.. Since the difference before and after surgery was so dramatic, I think I could have put up with that level of discomfort any number of times haha
When raising the nasal tip, I wanted it to look natural but also glamorous, and I think the director looked carefully so that the design could come out as close to my needs as possible. Maybe that “natural-glam” look < is the hardest thing, right? So I’m very satisfied with my nose now haha
More than anything, I think what I like most is that recovery was fast and both of my concerns, the hooked nose and bulbous nose, were corrected well! haha
