I went to 3 places for lateral and lower canthoplasty consultations. This was the first of them! The price was on the cheaper side, in the low 1 million won range. I just searched a famous app and visited because it had many reviews! (Absolutely not an ad, this is a self-paid footwork consultation review)
I went in after making a reservation, but waited about 30 minutes, and it felt so unmanaged that I wondered if I really had a reservation.. It felt like even the consultation managers were saying things like, “They still haven’t gone in?” Because consultations for people with reservations were getting delayed, I could sense a slightly irritated atmosphere between them. It probably depends on the consultation manager, but the one assigned to me was also rather unfriendly and gave off a very assembly-line clinic vibe..
On the other hand, Director Jang Nam did seem to try to be sincere!! He looked young, and since they said he does customized eye surgery, I chose Director Jang Nam for the consultation. Still, it was hard to shake the feeling that it was somewhat assembly-line style.. Overall, the hospital felt busy?
Anyway, during the consultation, they told me to ask anything I was curious about, so I asked whether lateral and lower canthoplasty reattaches, what kind of design they usually do, side effects, etc. Overall, they described it as a very simple surgery, but I actually had the surgery at another hospital, and after going through it, it is absolutely not a simple surgery.. I’ll talk in detail later, but I think it’s a surgery with quite a few side effects and a long recovery period To look at least natural, it takes 2 months..
Anyway, during the consultation, they explained the surgical technique in detail. I was grateful that they answered my questions diligently, but it wasn’t a consultation that made me trust them enough to leave my eyes to them, so I decided to exclude this place.
