Before/after <same day> after <1 week> before <current, week 2> I think it’s been about 2 weeks since I had double jaw surgery, and maybe because I’ve been walking pretty consistently, it feels like the swelling is going down little by little every day. Even though I still have swelling after surgery, compared to before surgery, my face size really seems to have gotten much smaller lolㅋㅋㅌㅋㅋㅋ Before surgery, I had a totally long cucumber-shaped face..^^ When I was looking into hospitals, I really searched hard and looked up hospitals I could find on YouTube, watching lots of YouTube videos too, and I think I chose well. I’d been really stressed for a long time because of things like a long face, wide lower face, and a protruding jaw impression.
Anyway, it’s been about 2 weeks now, and I feel like I can finally manage a bit. On the first day after surgery, I had a bit of a headache and it was a little hard, but maybe because of the pain-control anesthesia, it wasn’t that painful. My nose got blocked really badly, so I got through it by spraying the Otrivin I had brought on the day of surgery. I had surgery without a guardian.. but even at night, the nurse on duty took good care of me. Anyway, after being hospitalized and discharged, I went back at the 1-week mark to check my progress, and they also gave me swelling care. From around that point, the lip swelling also started to go down a bit and things got better.
It’s just that from then on, because I had to wear a wafer, it was a little uncomfortable, but bearable. Up to exactly 1 week was a bit hard, but now it’s a little more manageable and I can feel the swelling going down. Does it look to everyone like my surgery turned out well??
