Nose Surgery Reviews

Extremely satisfied with rhinoplasty + philtrum reduction + philtrum depression surgery

Sharing this for the public good. I decided on rhinoplasty to correct my slightly drooping nose. I prefer a nose with a defined columella, and the doctor understood my needs precisely. I was fine with it looking like I had rhinoplasty, but I wanted a unique, pretty nose—not one that looked factory-made.

When a drooping nose is lifted, the previously hidden philtrum becomes more visible, so I thought it might look longer. I therefore also had philtrum reduction and philtrum depression surgery. Rather than making a straight incision on the philtrum, the incision was made along the nostril rim–inside the nostrils–nostril rim line, so externally it is not very visible and looks like a nostril-reduction incision.

The doctor stitched it closely with thin thread. I deliberately took a photo in sunlight at two weeks, and it looked only like that. I had no bruising at all after surgery, and very little swelling. If it looks like this already at two weeks 👍 the doctor really has golden hands. Also, during the consultation, I felt that the doctor sincerely cared about not only the shape but also the patient's scars and was concerned about them, so I thought I could trust the doctor to handle everything well.

Usually doctors are good at only one area, such as eyes or noses, but this doctor is good at everything. If I want another procedure, I plan to trust this doctor without shopping around elsewhere. That concludes my extremely, extremely satisfied review.
