I had been considering facial contouring because my recessed chin had always bothered me, and I eventually had genioplasty with Dr. Kim Jong-yoon at [Clinic A]. It has already been a month~
I had never liked how my side profile looked as if I had a recessed chin, and had always thought I would need surgery someday. When I finally had some free time, I decided right away. I watched YouTube videos about chin surgery and read various facial-contouring reviews on forums. Among them, [Clinic A] appealed to me most, so I chose it.
I seemed to have less swelling than most people. There was already little swelling around day 3, and it improved further after one week. From the following week, I could even go without a mask. Even then, my recessed-chin appearance already seemed less noticeable than before, so I looked forward to the result.
By week 2, most of the major swelling was gone, though some bruising and residual swelling remained. Still, I was already satisfied when I looked in the mirror!! At week 3, there was no striking change compared with week 2, but eating and daily life were no longer difficult, so I am comfortable now. At one month, the residual swelling is gradually decreasing, and I can clearly feel the difference in my side profile compared with before surgery. I especially like that the recessed-chin appearance has diminished and the chin line is becoming more natural. I am still recovering, but it is fun to watch things change little by little haha
