People around me tried to talk me out of it quite a bit, and I was half in doubt about whether to do it or not, but looking back now, I really think I’m glad I did it. When I look at my pre-surgery photos, oh wow, seriously hahahahahaha
I got it done with a method the director is famous for called double buried suture, and I think I had the stitches removed after about 4-5 days. I was worried because people said stitch removal hurts, but it didn’t hurt at all, so I was actually surprised.
The swelling lasted longer than I expected. I didn’t feel it at the time, but looking at the photos now, even at 3-4 months after double eyelid surgery, the swelling was practically advertising, “I had double eyelid surgery~~”ㅠㅠ From around month 5, the hidden swelling also went down and it seemed to become more and more natural. Now, one year later, it has settled almost like these were my original eyes! I’m living very, very satisfied with my face upgraded by just double eyelid surgery.
For anyone about to have double eyelid surgery or still considering it, I hope my review helps even a little!ㅠㅠ Please ask anytime if you have any questions! Oh, and I tried drinking pumpkin juice because it’s said to be good for swelling, and I even tried sleeping sitting up, but the surest solution was time after all..... hahahaㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I think walking helped!!
