I had surgery 2 years ago at ㅇㅂ with Director ㅅㅅㅈ, and I’m scheduled for revision surgery next week.
The reasons for revision surgery are dissatisfaction with the shape, cartilage showing through, and a step-off developing between the silicone implant and nasal tip.
To be honest, the current shape is not extremely terrible, but at the time I wanted something very natural. Some clinics said I needed osteotomy, while others said I didn’t. Back then I was too young and scared of osteotomy, so I ended up doing it at ㅇㅂ, where they said they would proceed without it. Right after surgery, I was more or less satisfied, and truly nobody noticed. At that time, I liked that, but now I want a pretty nose even if it looks somewhat obvious, so I decided on revision surgery. It’s not like there were complications or anything from the surgery, so I wouldn’t say I’m dissatisfied, but anyway, since a step-off has developed and the cartilage is starting to show through, I don’t think I can say it was done extremely well either.
In conclusion, the director seems to have good surgical skills, but aesthetically I think you need to have a very detailed consultation and make very specific requests. I don’t think I explained what I wanted properly enough. If you explain what you want until they’re sick of hearing it, maybe they’ll match it well??
The desk staff still seemed kind of beginner-level? They were flustered and unsure. The consultant seemed very experienced, but when I was paying, the pressure for a deposit was really intense. So part of why I just did it there was because I couldn’t be bothered. There was no aftercare at all (swelling laser, injections, skin care). I developed scar tissue on my ear, but that didn’t particularly matter to me. At the time, I didn’t think much of it, but looking back after time passed, I feel like there wasn’t much care? So at the clinic where I’m having revision surgery this time, I’m planning to request various things ㅠㅠ
